Memorial Garden Clean Up - Memorial Garden at 9:30 a.m.

Lent is a season of preparation, and this year we have an opportunity to tangibly engage that by working together in the Memorial Garden and around the church each week leading up to Easter. As the weather permits, we will gather outside in the memorial garden at 9:30 am each Sunday, comfortable dress is encouraged (and welcome in the service following), and we look forward to this unique expression of preparation and fellowship.

As a Matthew 25 congregation we are committed to the work of vitalizing our congregation, dismantling structural racism, and eradicating poverty. Doing this work begins with our congregational imagination and questioning as we seek to better understand the systems in which we participate. During Lent we will have a Matthew 25 bible study called “The Gospel and Inclusivity,” join us in Forbes Parlor at 9:30 am each Sunday to learn more about our congregational commitment and the practical ways we can live that out.
