Sunday Sandwiches

Sunday Sandwiches is a combination Sunday school class and fellowship time for Southminster members and guests who might be late sleepers and are unable to attend a 9:30 a.m. class. or who enjoy getting together for lunch after worship. Join us on Sundays following worship to enjoy meaningful conversation with one another.

As Southminster has chosen Homelessness as the Matthew 25 issue for our major congregational focus, Sunday Sandwiches class will study this issue using the book, When We Walk By: Forgotten Humanity, Broken Systems, and the Role We Can Each Play in Ending Homelessness in America (Paperback), by Kevin F. Adler, Donald W. Burnes, Amanda Banh Andrijana Bilbija. The book is available from Amazon as a paperback, Kindle book, Audible Audiobook, and is also included in Spotify Premium. All are welcome to join us on Sunday as we discuss the “Introduction” and “Chapter 1: Relational Poverty.”

Sandwiches will be provided ($5.00 suggested donation.) Lunch reservations are not required, but helpful. Please call the church office at 918-743-4427 to make a reservation.
